Working in the temporary and permanent placement industry, Owner of a resume writing, career coaching, professional placement firm and a Staffing Manager for a Hi Tech, Fortune 500 corporation, I have interviewed thousands of candidates and placed people at small and large companies alike and know what hiring managers want to see on a resume. I stay connected to the latest advances in technology, through seminars, webinars, newsletters, networking groups, human resources and job market news and tips for job seekers.
As a former Recruiter and Staffing Manager, I have personally interviewed qualified candidates with marketable skills whose resumes did not portray their accomplishments and career focus accurately. After rewriting many candidates' resumes in order to ensure an interview with my client, the hiring company, I was driven to fill the need and started my own business writing powerful resumes that get successful results for both the candidate and the hiring company. My process starts by getting to know you, the candidate using more than your employment history. I will write it from a personal level to identify your Career Focus and ideal job, translating it into a resume that matches your individual characteristics and core workplace values. I do NOT use templates or produce "cookie cutter" resumes. Your resume will be unique with your personal persona, developed through a collaborative process of reviewing your career history from your existing resume or from a resume information form that I will send you.
